Virginia enjoys art and writing. She is raising three rescued cats, a rescued pit bull, and a rescued cockatiel. She is a certified Open Water Diver.

Virginia was named an AP Scholar by The College Board in
recognition of her achievement on her Advanced Placement
Examinations in Biology, English, and History. She has played
bassoon, flute, mellophone, and marimbas, and she has performed
with an a capella ensemble. Her artwork has been featured
in a fundraising campaign and on the cover of a literary
magazine.
